Begin registration from the official AWS certification site, ensure the profile name exactly matches identification, and keep a durable personal email and recovery method. Older URLs, Login with Amazon, and page layouts may change.

The delivery workflow generally offers an in-person test center or an OnVUE online-proctored exam. In-person candidates choose an available site and date, bring policy-compliant photo ID, and follow test-center item rules; online candidates use a compliant private room. Exam language, proctor language, address, time zone, and appointment availability are separate choices. Read current admission, rescheduling or cancellation, and ID policies before committing.

An online exam requires a compatible computer, webcam and microphone, stable internet, and a private quiet room. Run the system test well in advance rather than waiting for exam day, clear the desk and surrounding area, prepare compliant ID, and check in early enough for the proctor's environment inspection. Corporate VPNs, firewalls, proxies, endpoint security, or restricted permissions commonly cause failures, so test the exact device and network intended for the exam. Follow the current OnVUE page for timing and technical requirements.
